Dick Maxwell is the founder of Maxwell Financial Management. He has been a Certified Financial Planner® since 1988. He entered the insurance business in 1978 after nine years of teaching school in Columbus, Ohio. A few years later, Dick made the natural progression by expanding his services to incorporate the total financial planning process. Dick received a bachelor’s degree and degree for Doctor of Humane Letters from Ohio Dominican University and a master’s degree from Xavier University.
Dick has learned in the financial planning process that people make the difference. He is most proud of the help he has provided to his clients, and the many friendships that have been established through the years. Dick is an avid skier, golfer, and Ohio State Buckeye fan. He enjoys traveling, playing golf, and family vacations. He served as Ohio Dominican University Board of Trustees for 29 years and is a past President and member of The Gahanna Rotary Club.
Dick resides in Gahanna with his wife Lynda. He has three grown daughters: Melyssa, Laura, Katy and seven grandchildren.
